We normally have three levels of picture framing. Our picture framing levels Include: Trade Picture Framing: Trade framing includes mass production of picture framing of all types. Normally a trade account is required for this level of picture framing. (Known as white label Picture Framing). Standard Picture Framing: Standard picture framing is your everyday framing items. Posters, prints, canvas etc. Conservation Picture Framing: Conservation picture framing is a higher level of framing. To preserve the item being framed with acid free and UV blocking materials. Popular Framed Items Posters: Posters look good just with a frame straight around the image or add a mount around them to give them that extra punch. Posters tend to be rolled. We can flatten them and bond them down to take out any undulations. Bonding posters down is only used on inexpensive images. Original Art Framing: The world around us harbours airborne acids and contaminants; these destructive's will damage and de-value things we display on our walls. Original artworks should all be framed to a conservation level in order to preserve value and appearance for years to come. Acid free and UV blocking materials are used for conservation level picture framing. Shirt Framing: Signed Football Shirts and Rugby Shirts are very popular items that we frame. Your memorabilia will be cased in a stunning hand made 3D box frame with your choice of different layers and colour of mounting and backing.

Glazing choices of standard clear float glass or specialist glazing with anti-reflective coatings with UV blocking properties. Every shirt is different by the style, shape, size and fit. Choose on how you want your shirt stretched, sleeves folded behind or pinned to the front. We stretch each shirt onto an individual bespoke cut acid free board. All stretched shirts are 100% reversible. Needle Work Framing: We frame many X-stitches, Embroideries and Tapestries. We stretch, mount and frame to your choice of frame and design. Please bring you completed needle works in cleaned, pressed and rolled ready for stretching. All stretched X-stitches and Embroideries are 100% reversible.

Canvas Framing: Have your canvas stretched the way you want. Here are three ways you can have your canvas stretched and framed: Full Canvas: Full canvas image stretched on stretcher bars with staples down the sides then choice of frame. This involves two frames, stretcher bar frame then your choice of an outer picture frame. Gallery Wrap: Your canvas image will be wrapped around the stretcher bar with staples on the back. Your canvas image will become smaller as it will go around the sides, top and bottom of the stretcher bar. Options of different depths of 20mm, 30mm and 40mm. Once stretched its ready to hang on your wall with no additional frame. Gallery Wrap and Float Frame: Have your canvas gallery wrapped then framed into a canvas float frame that will give the illusion the canvas you place in the frame is floating in the distinctive space within the frame. Different depths available. This involves two frames, stretcher bar frame then your choice of an outer float frame. Multi Aperture Mount: A multi window mount cutout for many images. Works best as a single mount. Mount Slips: A small wooden frame moulding that fits into the aperture of the mount. Mounts slips tend to match the overall frame finish, (gold picture frame with ivory mount with an added gold mount slip). Float Mounting: For inexpensive prints and posters only. Float mounting is where the image is bonded flat onto 10mm foam board then adhered to your choice of colour backing. Two options of adding a shadow mount or a mount spacer. Both give the illusion of the image floating within the frame without touching the glass. Shadow Mounting: A shadow mount is a raised border that keeps the item away from touching the glazing. Normally used in 3D box framing. V-groove: Add a decorative v-groove cut around the aperture of your mount that gives the illusion of a double mount. Normally 20mm from the aperture. Mount Board Types: We use Whitecore Acid Free mount board as our standard. Optional blackcore choices are available. For archival conservation we use Museum Boards that are acid-free Neutral pH and buffered with calcium carbonate.
